Prerna Bishnoi

Executive Board Member, Trondheim, Norway (2026-2030)

Prerna Bishnoi is an artist and artistic researcher based in Trondheim, Norway. Working primarily with filmmaking, her practice engages with documentary as a situated, collective, and process-oriented method that unfolds within social, ecological, and political contexts. Her work often develops in collaboration with diverse groups—workers, residents, researchers, artists, and policy actors—exploring how artistic practices can contribute to processes of organising, knowledge production, and collective reflection.

She is a board member of Unge Kunstneres Samfund(Young Artists’ Society), a 100-year-old political organisation for visual artists in Norway, where she leads the climate working group, and is part of the steering group of Verdensrommet, a mutual aid and advocacy network by and for non‑EU/EEA creative professionals.
